Congratulations to Heidi Hansch! Our 8th grader placed in third place after correctly spelling surrealist, adequacy, summitry, redact, beacon, halal, dossier, serdab, commissar, lieutenant, streusel, shogun, finale, and nonsense in the 2017 Monterey County Spelling Bee on Sunday, March 5.
