Middle School

Sixth Grade

During their first year in middle school, sixth grade students study core subjects as well as two new classes, Latin and art history. They also enjoy electives such as ceramics, yoga, and time to explore our Organic Garden. Our advisory program is also held during the middle school block.

As newly minted upper graders, students have the opportunity to be involved in Student Council, after school sports, as well as in our annual Shakespeare production.

Our 6th graders also enjoy a 3 day & 2 night science trip to Camp SEALab in Watsonville, as well as trips to the Monterey Bay Aquarium, the Rosicrucian Egyptian Museum, tide pooling at Carmel Beach, and outreach trips to sing and perform for the residents of Carmel Valley Manor.
