Our Preschool (PS) program plants the seed of a lifetime of learning rooted in joy. We nurture each child’s developmental, emotional, and social growth while helping develop emergent interests and foster independence using play as our educational foundation. Using an adaptive and responsive curriculum, we introduce language, math, science, and social skills in a logical, natural sequence to promote learning one step at a time.
With clear objectives in mind, teachers plan an engaging curriculum that includes strategies to enhance the learning of all children in a group, as well as each child as an individual. We create a warm, caring, and joyful learning environment where play reinforces the many skills we learn and practice each day.
As we teach the whole child, the Preschool experience includes music instruction, motor development through movement, library, religion, garden exploration, and exposure to Spanish through the different enrichment classes.
Students who turn three years old by September 1 are eligible to enroll in our Preschool program.
