Philosophy

The principal objective of the Jon Margolis Scholarship Fund is to honor Jon’s belief in the importance of education, love of children and his appreciation for All Saints’ Day School. The school’s
commitment to provide financial aid in order to extend its educational opportunity is supported by this Fund with an annual scholarship award determined by the All Saints’ Day School Financial Aid Committee in tribute to Jon and for the benefit of the student.

Intent

It is the intent of this fund to ultimately fund a full All Saints’ Day School scholarship for one student annually. Until that point, our immediate intent is to continue to grow and build this fund as we give out a partial annual scholarship to a deserving student at All Saints’ Day School.

Annual Golf Tournament

Each year the Annual Griffith-Margolis Invitational Construction Defect Golf Tournament is hosted to honor the memory of Jon Margolis and John Griffiths. The tournament organizers are continuing their relationship with the prestigious Castlewood Country Club in Pleasanton.
