Our students came together for a special Service Day in the spirit of Dr. King’s legacy of compassion, kindness, and community. From preschool through 8th grade, our campus was filled with energy and purpose as students found meaningful ways to give back.
They bagged beans for Nancy’s Project, created thank-you cards for volunteers at the Monterey Bay Aquarium, made artwork for residents at Carmel Valley Manor and Ivy Park at Monterey, decorated grocery bags for Jacob’s Heart in Watsonville, and crafted handmade toys for animals at AFRP using recycled materials. Students also designed bookmarks for the Boys & Girls Club, painted inspirational rocks, and shared special moments reading with their younger buddies.
This day was one meaningful part of our yearlong, school-wide outreach efforts and complemented our ongoing commitment to service and community engagement.

Moments like these reminded us that service is not just something we do—it’s part of who we are.
