EC Elder students were inspired to paint flowers after learning about artist Vincent Van Gogh and looking at his famous paintings of sunflowers.

Students first drew in pencil, then traced their pencil lines with a black marker. Finally, they used watercolors to finish their masterpieces.

EC Elders each shared what their unique flowers represented after learning that for Van Gogh the sunflowers he painted represented 'gratitude'.
