They’ll learn about slump and hump molds and how to use them. Project possibilities include functional items such as mugs, plates, bowls, and vases as well as distinctive items such as ceramic rattles and whistles. During the second week, while the pieces from the first week dry, we will learn some ways to apply design and color to both raw and bisque clay. And finally, we will glaze our pieces. Projects will be available for pick-up 3 - 4 weeks after the class ends. Participants should wear closed-toed shoes and clothing that can get muddy! Come join the fun!
