September 2020
We are pleased to share we have had student instruction on campus since August 31 and are currently operating under the waiver program approved by the Monterey County Office of Education. We are offering on-campus instruction, 5 days a week as well as simultaneous distance learning instruction for students choosing to stay at home.

All Saints Day School is continuously monitoring the evolving COVID-19 situation carefully and taking proactive and prudent measures to try to ensure the health and safety of every member of our community in accordance with the guidance provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the California Department of Public Health, and the Monterey County Health Department, and other health officials.

Our decisions are based on facts, science, and medical information, as the health and safety of our community is our priority.

Prevention

The CDC provides the following advice regarding the flu:
  • Avoid close contact.
Avoid close contact with people who are sick. When you are sick, keep your distance from others to protect them from getting sick, too.
  • Stay home when you are sick.
If possible, stay home from work, school, and errands when you are sick. This will help prevent spreading your illness to others. We ask our community members to be responsible about when to stay home due to illness. We urge individuals who have flu symptoms to stay home, so they can get the rest they need to get healthy and to avoid transmitting the flu to others in our community. Individuals with suspected flu, including severe cold symptoms, should stay home. If a fever is present, individuals should stay
home at least 24 hours after the fever has left.
  • Cover your mouth and nose
Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when coughing or sneezing. It may prevent those around you from getting sick. Flu and other serious respiratory illnesses are spread by coughing, sneezing, and unclean hands.
  • Clean your hands.
Washing your hands often will help protect you from germs. If soap and water are not available, use an alcohol-based hand rub.
