School Life

All Saints Day School is a vibrant, active place, where students engage in a wide variety of activities that enrich their education. With countless opportunities for students to discover and develop those things that delight, inspire, and move them, All Saints is not just preparing students for school, we are preparing them for life.

Although there is no average day at All Saints, the following could be taking place on any given day during the year:

Before school, you might find our Student Council meeting to decide which non-profit organizations would most benefit from money they raised during the year.
At 8:10 you would see our school community gathered together at Morning Chapel, viewing a presentation on our Outdoor Adventure and Environmental Education program in Yosemite. After Chapel, you could wander down to the 3rd grade, where the students were preparing sandwiches to be taken to Dorothy’s Place by our 7th graders as part of their Community Service. In first grade, the 8th grade Big Brothers & Sisters are reading books with their Little Brothers & Sisters.

At lunch, there is a rehearsal for the upcoming Spring Musical, one of several Performing Arts productions of the year. The Latin Feast for middle school students is also coming up soon, and several parents are meeting to help with this Special Event.

After school, students disperse: some go home, others play soccer or golf as a member of one of our Athletic teams, and several head to the Ceramics studio to create something special on the potter’s wheel. Students can also go to the Library to study in the After Care Program, and if it is Thursday, students may learn an instrument in Orchestra in the Schools.

However, if it is summer, you will have to come back another time to experience a typical day in the life of our school – unless, of course, you are interested in the Summer Program!

Hot Lunch

Wednesdays are community lunch events with our very own Hot Lunch Parents supplying lunch for the school community:

Each first Wednesday of the month, our Hot Lunch Parents take center stage on the BBQ, barbecuing hamburgers & cheeseburgers, turkey & Boca burgers, as well as hot dogs.

All other Wednesdays of the month, our parent volunteers serve Allegro's cheese, pepperoni, and veggie pizza with delicious salads and veggies & fruit on the side.

Lunches are also available for purchase on Mondays and Fridays. Our neighbors, Earthbound Farms offer delicious lunches on Mondays and Chopstix Vietnamese Restaurant offers student favorites on Fridays.

Uniform Policy

The All Saints uniform policy is to establish standards of dress that support the school’s focus on students’ internal growth and development rather than on their external appearance.
All students wear uniforms on a daily basis. Click here for full details of our uniform policy.

The Parents’ Organization regularly holds Recycled Uniform Sales. These sales are advertised on the website as well as in the Saturday Newsletter, our weekly publication.
