Isabell Fujita earns 1st Place at Steinbeck Young Author Program's Essay Contest

Seventh grader, Genevieve Hedges, and eighth grader, Isabell Fujita represented All Saints at this year's Steinbeck Young Author Program's essay contest. The essay was based on Stenbeck's novel, The Red Pony. Students spent time preparing notes, discussing the novel with a writing coach, and writing thesis statements, and a practice essay outline, before submitting their final essays.
We are very proud to announce that Isabell Fujita earned first place for her essay! Her essay will be published in the Gabilan Journal, the Steinbeck's Center publication. Congratulations!
