Sara Brown named 'Paul Harris Fellow'
Sara Brown, our Upper Grade Head and 6th grade teacher extraordinaire, was named a Paul Harris Fellow by the Rotary Club of Carmel Valley at the Tuesday, May 14, 2019, Rotary’s Partners in Community Services Luncheon.
This honor is awarded to individuals in appreciation of tangible and significant assistance given for the furtherance of better understanding and friendly relations among peoples of the world.
Ms. Brown joins an impressive group of notable figures who have been named 'Paul Harris Fellows', including U.S. President Jimmy Carter, Russian President Boris Yeltsin, U.S. astronaut James Lovell, UN Secretary-General Javier Perez de Cuellar, and polio vaccine developer Jonas Salk.
