Inaugural Family Service Saturday

Join us on February 4 at 10:00am at the Food Bank for Monterey County to help sort, organize, and prepare donated food for the local food pantries and non-profit agencies who, in turn, will feed so many hungry neighbors among us.
A core belief at All Saints' Day School is educating the whole child. We believe each one's personal, emotional and social well being is cultivated, supported, challenged and nurtured through community outreach and service-oriented learning that develops and fosters strong connections to the community in which we live. With this in mind, we proudly announce a new All Saints' tradition - Family Service Saturday!

Our inaugural Family Service Saturday is set for February 4! Despite its reputation as the salad bowl of the United States, Monterey County has the highest rate of adults in food insecure households in all of California. The Food Bank for Monterey County seeks to lead community efforts in the awareness and elimination of hunger in Monterey County. They are the primary food resource for over 90 non-profit agencies -- like Dorothy's Place in Salinas -- who, in turn, serve over 51,000 households in Monterey County.

They need our help. Join us at 10:00am on the 4th and work alongside students, parents, and faulty & staff of All Saints' Day School.

Please RSVP to Lada Sawyer at
lsawyer@asds.org or Kevin Day atkday@asds.org, no later than Friday, January 27.
