Sam is going to Nationals!

Sam Schaeffer '19 was named co-champion at History Day - California!
Sam Schaeffer '19 was awarded co-champion for his documentary Rioting for Reform: The 1971 Attica Prison Riot Conflict & Compromise in Prison Reform” at the National History Day - California State competition. He will represent the state of California and All Saints’ Day School in Maryland June 10-14, 2018, at the National History Day Competition at the University of Maryland, College Park.

Our eight county winners competed at last weekends National History Day - California State competition in Sacramento. Five of our students were finalists, Sam was awarded co-champion in the individual junior documentary category, Tyler Imamura '19 was named runner-up in the historical paper division, and Will Hand '19 was awarded honorable mention in the website category.

Additionally, Tyler and Will received special awards for their projects. 

Congratulations to all of our 7th grade historians that competed at last weekends History Day - California State competition in Sacramento.
