No student or family should hesitate to apply for admission because of inability to pay the entire cost. All Saints Day School is committed to making quality education accessible to all students, regardless of their financial circumstance.
Tuition Assistance is granted on the basis of economic need, and applications are evaluated utilizing the service, School & Student Services by NAIS. SSS uses a standard methodology to assess the family resources available to contribute towards a child’s educational expenses. The Tuition Assistance Committee maintains strict confidentiality regarding a family’s participation in the assistance process and all financial information provided. Learn more about how to apply for Tuition Assistance here.
For the 2018-2019 school year, tuition assistance in varying amounts was granted to 39% of our families.
If you have any questions, please contact Sandy Schuller or Lori Rosenblum in the Business Office at 831-624-9171, ext. 17.
Tuition Assistance is provided by a school to reduce the cost of an independent school education. All Saints Day School provides tuition assistance in the form of outright grants. All Saints Day School uses School & Student Services by NAIS which uses a standard methodology to assess the resources available to contribute toward a child’s educational expenses.
All Saints Day School believes that the family has the primary responsibility for financing their child’s education to the extent they are able. We believe that every family should contribute at least a certain amount of money toward expenses. Once this amount has been determined, the family can decide whether or not to apply for aid.
SSS processes the information you provide on the application according to established standards and procedures. Your financial situation will be evaluated, and an estimated family contribution for education will be determined. The result of the evaluation is sent to All Saints Day School. In processing your application, SSS takes into account many factors, including:
Income (both taxable and nontaxable)
Assets (home equity, savings, bonds, etc.)
Expenses (medical, etc.)
Indebtedness (some types are allowable, some are not)
Age of Parents (to allow for retirement savings)
Number of children attending tuition-charging schools
Not all of your assets are considered in the methodology. A portion is set aside as an allowance for retirement purposes, based upon the age of the older parent. The more assets a family has, the greater the family’s expected contribution.
Not entirely, because there is more demand for Tuition Assistance funds than we can provide. We also require that every family contribute a minimum amount towards tuition. This amount will vary depending upon the family’s situation. We hope that by providing aid for a substantial percentage of the cost, more families will be able to attend All Saints Day School.
Financial aid to a family may be denied if the application is incomplete. We will attempt to advise you if we have not received certain materials prior to considering your application, in order to give you an opportunity to submit the remaining materials.
All Saints Day School believes that responsibility for paying for the child’s education rests with both parents. It is the responsibility of all parents to complete all steps in the Tuition Assistance application process.
The recipients of Tuition Assistance are held in strict confidence by the Tuition Assistance Committee. Therefore, the treatment and expectations of students receiving assistance are the same as all other students at All Saints.
All Saints families that have more than one child concurrently enrolled in the school will be offered a $1,000 tuition reduction for the second (and each additional) child.
Tuition may be paid in one single sum, two semi-annual payments or 10 monthly payments. A non-refundable enrollment deposit of 10% of tuition that is applied to the following year's tuition is charged every year to reserve a space for each child planning to attend. The deposit is due for all returning students on or before February 22, and for all new students as they are enrolled.
Tuition for the 2020-21 school year will be established in January 2020.
