273 Trees Planted in All Saints' Name!
We handed out a total of 273 green yearbooks last year. Our yearbook publisher, TreeRing, worked with their partner, Trees for the Future, to plant that many trees in our school's name.
TreeRing works through their partner Trees for the Future to plant trees in high poverty parts of the world (think Africa, Asia and Latin America). Deforestation is linked to poverty due to unproductive soils and erosion. Basically, we need trees to live.
In other words: Our school's yearbooks are helping to improve living standards in places that desperately need all the help they can get. That's something to feel good about.
All Saints Day School
All Saints Day School, in Carmel, CA, is the only independent, private school on the Monterey Peninsula that focuses solely on educating students in Preschool through Grade 8, and has been doing so, with a reputation for excellence, since 1961.
