Class of 2017 completes lesson in entrepreneurship
Our 8th Graders successfully completed their exercise in entrepreneurship and are ready to sell their t-shirt and raise money for a charity of their choice!
Students collaborated in design teams to meet the challenge set by their 'client,' our Head of School. Using the principles of design, computer software and prototyping, students presented their own t-shirt proposals to Mr. Jebson.
Proposals included marketing plans, sales strategies and profit margins. The final t-shirt incorporated elements of each team's proposal.
The t-shirt is available in limited numbers, different adult and children's sizes and sells for $10. You can pre-order yours through Lada Sawyer at lsawyer@asds.org. The shirt will also be available for sale at Fall Fest, numbers permitting.
