California Water Cycle Team stops at All Saints'

Our students got a special treat when Sam Ecenia and Michael Belazis stopped by All Saints' on their 1500 mile California Cycling tour to talk to them about water sustainability during morning assembly. All Saints' was their very first school stop. They will continue cycling south stopping at schools and community centers to spread awareness about the water situation in California.

The California Water Cycle Team, Sam Ecenia and Michael Belazis, visited with All Saints’ students on Friday, January 22, to highlight the fresh water urgency in California and especially here on the Monterey Peninsula.

With direct access to the Carmel River from campus and students regularly going down to the river or riverbed to study, reflect and observe, All Saints’ students are very aware of the California drought and the evolution of the Carmel River watershed.

As a 4th year Ocean Guardian School, All Saints’ is excited for the opportunity for an additional resource to further learn about the watershed, it’s sustainability as well as history.
